1st Place - $2,500 - Amy Nelson, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center.
Amy’s project encourages hands-on learning through physical science experiment kits, including Electromagnetics, Prisms, orbital models, STEM Electricity, and Magnetism kits. She wants the kids to be excited about what they are learning and want to take that learning further!
2nd Place - $1,500 - Juvicel O. de Guzman, CRUHSD Academy
Juvicel’s project, “Portrait of a Graduate,” celebrates their students' success and upcoming graduation by providing free-of-charge graduation portraits for each student. These portraits are used in the graduation program, for graduation invitations, and yearbooks.
